The Vans BMX Proof Wafflecup Shoes are designed specifically for BMX - a cycling discipline that involves performing tricks, jumps and manoeuvres on specialized bikes. This type of riding requires reliable pedal grip, impact protection and precise control. The shoe's construction is adapted to intensive riding, combining support with excellent pedal feel.

The suede upper is durable and has a pleasant texture, providing comfort during intensive riding, while the soft textile collar offers additional support and comfort around the ankle.

The [WaffleCup™](/en/technology/vans-technologies#wafflecup) outsole combines the support of a cupsole construction with the distinctive pedal feel of a vulcanized outsole, helping you feel the pedals better and maintain control of the bike.

The new VDFPR rubber compound is engineered to provide an optimal balance of pedal feel, grip and durability. It ensures confident contact with the pedals and is designed to withstand intensive use.

Reinforced [DURACAP™](/en/technology/vans-technologies#duracap) underlays are strategically placed in high-wear areas to increase durability and extend the life of the shoes. [PopCush™](/en/technology/vans-technologies#popcush) insoles provide cushioning and help soften impact during landings and extended riding sessions.

The signature Vans Sidestripe™ on the sides completes the recognizable design.

Choose the Vans BMX Proof Wafflecup for BMX training and intensive riding when precise bike control and confident pedal contact matter most.
