The outer shell is made of durable ripstop fabric with [TEXASHIELD PRO](/en/technology/jack-wolfskin-technology#texashield-pro) technology, which reliably protects against wind, is highly water-repellent, and remains breathable. The RDS-certified duck down filling with a high fill power of 700 cuin provides excellent thermal insulation while remaining light and airy. Additional synthetic fill helps retain heat even in wet conditions.

A fixed hood with adjustable field of view fits snugly and protects against wind and snow, while internal elastic cuffs keep the cold out. A two-way zipper with a snap placket provides wind protection and ease of movement. Side pockets and one internal pocket provide secure storage for small essentials.
